Great River Marine is developing a training and apprentice pathway for individuals pursuing professional marine surveying work. This program is intended to emphasize hands-on field experience, professional reporting practices, and ethical standards within the marine surveying profession.

The focus is on practical competence and real-world survey execution rather than classroom-only instruction.

Program Focus

The Training & Apprentice Program is being designed to address key areas of professional development, including:

  • Survey inspection methodology and workflow

  • Professional report writing and documentation standards

  • Understanding survey scope, limitations, and independence

  • Field observation, documentation, and consistency

  • Client communication and professional conduct
