How the Survey Process Works

  1. Contact us to request a quote

  2. Complete the survey request form

  3. Schedule the survey date and location

  4. Surveyor conducts in-water and/or out-of-water inspection of hull, structure, and systems

  5. Perform haul-out inspection for bottom and underwater components, if required

  6. Test machinery, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems

  7. Conduct sea trial to evaluate vessel performance and operation, if applicable

  8. Payment due to surveyor at conclusion of the survey (cash, Venmo or Zelle)

  9. Surveyor provides preliminary findings in person (verbal report) or via e-mail (same day)

  10. Final comprehensive report is prepared and emailed to client (< 3 business days)

  11. Optional: client may request follow up review on corrected deficiencies, if required

  12. Optional: Surveyor issues an amend survey report based on corrected deficiencies, if required
